If you dig up the latest top 20 of both companies, it will paint a pretty clear picture
Between the Raffles and Hudson group of companies, their associates and friendlies etc I would say they control 50% if not pretty close to that amount of SOC (have to check figures)
In terms of PMR, I would say then that SOC, Raffles and Hudson group of companies, their associates and friendlies own close to 95% or something like that (again have to check figures)
Therefore there is almost no point putting a vote to SOC shareholders to determine how SOC vote with respect to its holding in PMR, as it will all get ratified anyway
I know that a lot of brokers and funds hate this structure, as you are really just a passive investor given the distribution of the shares between a few related parties
At the end of the day, they are secondary tenements, valued at less than $1.5M and SOC simply don't have the cash to explore these - anyway complaining as to why they gave them to PMR is just clutching at straws IMO
