When someone says they were "suicidal" its always best to take them at their word --- for safety sake if nothing else. Casting doubt on the complaint only serves to increase the risk. but it seems more like she's ticking off boxes in her general complaint - pushing buttons and pulling levers.

On the whole though she sure does present a major problem for the Govt. Many women, imo, would be supportive of her, though there would likely be many who would deride her for the reasons I mention above, and others.

Its certainly a beat-up when M. went ballistic in parliament. an obvious distraction from the complaints of Govt problems at the time.

The tirade "SHE CAN GO" was , as you say an obvious distraction from the current problems.

With the ongoing "problems" this guy is making for himself and his party are his own doing. Todays press conference in WA showed some of that when he was quizzed about the State election...... he was found to have no answer, saying he is here as the Federal Leader, and strangely enough let the nodding circus clown take over the conversation before finishing up.
