    With all due respect Frankie,

You seem to be embellishing the story somewhat.

None of us know what was said at the time, and of course, Rudd is forced to apologize openly, because of the media and all those against him. Rudd is hardly going to want to add fuel to the fire by clarifying and giving his version of the event.

He is popular so he must be brought down a few rungs!!

A young attendant reduced to tears is hardly going to help his cause and it wouldn't be too hard for a young lady to be intimidated, let alone by the PM.
An older more experienced attendant might probably have acted differently.
The fact that this attendant was reduced to tears certainly goes a long way to paint a bad picture of Rudd.

Have you never made a female cry over what you might have considerd to be the slightest thing?

About two weeks ago someone posted on the politics board that they were listening to "talkback radio" (really???) and that someone called in to say that Rudd had given the fingers sign to Pyne during question time and that the media should get onto it...blaa..blaa.. blaa.
This was in fact so untrue. Pyne kept getting up on points of order and the speaker was getting a bit tired of it. Again, Pyne got up from his seat on a point of order as Rudd was speaking, and Rudd gestured to Pyne with both hands to come forward....nothing more!! and yet the "elite" listeners will believe what they hear or what they want to believe.
