1 week, 2 weeks, 4 weeks. Who cares? Markets seem to have the attention span of a goldfish and people miss the bigger picture. These Resources take years to develop in most instances and the fact that a company misses an arbitrary goal (which can be completely out of their control) doesn't mean there is some conspiracy like the MRE is terrible and the company needs more time to build it up etc. The company is required to release price sensitive information in a timely manner - good or bad. When they feel sufficiently comfortable the requisite work has been done they'll release it.
Despite the sell off I am comfortable over the mid-term because:
This will be a good Resource (whether over or under consensus views in the short term), the Resource is in a good jurisdiction, Lithium price will be volatile so the better assets will still perform over time, the EV and broader energy transformation is not going away, North American battery manufacturers need as much spod as they can get their hands on, we have a competent management who will generate the best result for shareholders either by building a project or selling it.
Maybe Li stocks were overpriced. Maybe they needed a pull back. Is there still plenty of potential upside in this one? - absolutely. Every investment carries a risk and it doesn't always go one way. I'm holding mine for the foreseeable future because I believe in the above.
