Back in August 2008 I received some PMV shares when they took over JST Group - as a holder of JST shares I received 0.25 PMV shares for each JST share held (in addition to a cash component for the JST shares). I held onto these PMV shares until last month & am now trying to confirm the correct cost base calculation for the CGT. Class Ruling 2008/66 includes a formula to calculate the PMV share cost base - however I am wondering if anyone has a worked example with sample figures in it so I can check if I'm calculating the correct cost base? I acquired the PMV shares on the 22/8/08 when the market price was $5.79
