don't want to tie up your valuable time but you mentioned you had mates that swore by bullion and my guess is that you're a bit of a gold bug......so still interested in what your thoughts and your bullion mates are on ASX:GOLD.
i always wanted to have a nice little 1oz perth mint bar (or preferably lots of them) - almost bought a 10kg silver perth mint bar on ebay once. but the problem is delivery and security for the real metal plus they usually charge additional commissions. if you buy gold coins you pay a premium above the metal worth and you still have delivery and security issues.
so ASX:GOLD provides exposure without the overheads - why then would you want to hold the real metal?
if you read the gold bugs who have been around long enough to have experienced it they will tell you that gold stocks outperform the real metal price when the faecal matter really hits the air movement device so PNA makes very good sense to me.
