Yes I agree, the market may see this as a start to a Cu downtrend perhaps.

As with any shareholder, IMHO I think we are all more concerned with falls, why do responsible traders have stop loss triggers? That noise you speak of is your capital gain or loss over time, so it's in all of our interest to know what events drive the daily SP.
I do notice the rises all too well but they do not seem to rise on Cu price with the zeel of falling CU price. Another factor I forgot was we report in $US. With the $AU so high, on a exchange rate basis, we are getting less for our earnings as the Dollar rises.
Based on their forecast for 2011 of $US290m this now equates to only $AU283m.
Do you think this is a factor in the SP lately as well?
