Claws, as the new resident south east asia security analyst please can you explain how a border skirmish on the Thai / Cambodian border (or even a full blown conflict for that matter) would affect a mine site some 700kms away in a neighbouring country that is not under any dispute with either Cambodia or Thailand? Would love to know your insight into this. Perhaps you think the Cambodian troops are going to launch a blitzkrieg right across Thailand and secure the border crossing at Nong Khai (do you even know where Nong Kai is or its relevance, actually come to think of it do you know where Cambodia is in relation to Laos, I would guess not by the sounds of it).
