$1 in 12 months seems ok to me. All depends on price of copper, which in turn depends on world events. If US and global (ex China) recession is mild, copper could easily be over $3.50/pound in 12 months time.

I wouldn't be buying for the short term right now, but I'm confident of a good return in the mid-long term.
