As with oil refineries, there won't be enough to go around as the media business picks up speed. Satellites do not have infinite capacity and there are only so many slots in the sky for them. With TV going digital, so will a lot of the transmission go satellite. There will be a rush to book space as time goes on. Some satellites are too slow for current demands so a move over to the faster ones will quicken. Expect a continuous flow of news of customers taking up the bandwidth. Same with 3G mobile phones, only they can handle the amount of content on offer.
