    Nsachc - cannot agree. Look at OK Tedi which disposes of its tailings down the OK Tedi and Fly River. Tailings dam just not feasible in this very high seismic zone with a 10 meter (yes 10 metres)per annum rainfall. Oh I wish they (Kennecot and later BHP) had constructed a tailings pipeline and DSTP facility for this deposit.
