it makes me wonder if the people involved in pursuing this change
have a financial interest . eg... they own a lot of land in png???
it would be to their benefit to see such legislation passed.
only a sugestion and my point of view imho.
my guess is that they know the rough value underneath their land
and want a slice of the profit.
