they have disclosed. in the annual report it says the 500m capacity facility is approximately 5x current capacity meaning current cap is 100m, that is a target that will be hit within approx 12 months
and it's not a bet on exponential growth thats such an exaggeration, it's a bet on sustainable growth. even if it stays at a reduced 50% , we are hitting 500m within the foreseeable future.
your just so off target with everything you say it's hard to take you seriously. this facility is next to their current facility. they likely weren't given tbe ability to start smaller without sacrificing that proximity which comes with a tonne of long term cost and logistic benefits. they invested in the future and ur nitpicking it. they got the facility they want so might as well build it out now than constantly be building sections each year, disrupting workers and production. it's also a place for r&d and offices so it's not just a production facility it's literally a complete operations expansion.
you are wanting an option that would likely cost more money and be more disruptive to business operations. would u prefer 5 separate 100m dollar capacity facilities located all over the place? or a centralised colocated facility that encompasses all 500m
before commenting you should of known about the location of this new facility, its purpose and the currently stated capacity that is public information. it would seem like you didn't know or have disregarded this information
your right costs in construction have increased, but i doubt they are going to decrease anytime soon. there's no indication of this happening, so why exactly does construction costs rising have to do with anything
