I’ve heard so many people in the Biotech industry say they have to turn to the US for funding because so many Australian investors just don’t understand the biotech sector. I thought that fear was exaggerated, but the calls here for slower growth in order to deliver a profit now, or to suggest they should build a smaller factory that can’t deliver the expected demand in 5 years, really explain why Biotechs have that fear. If those really are the reasons why the share price has tanked, it’s not surprising our tech goes overseas.
