This guy really needs to experience investing in private companies where there are no share prices (at least not actively traded) to guide investment decisions, might change his completely flawed perspective on how to evaluate companies.
He also needs to understand how to use comps. Rule number 1, make sure to get companies which are actually similar to the one in question!
Also they have definitely demonstrated future profit performance. Customers are clearly quite sticky, revenue is recurring and gross margins are high, so it's obvious that when they get more scale and can reduce sales expenditure, they should be very profitable
