you only need to look at CSL, COH and RMD for cash balances. And do you think they went expanding into everywhere in the world all at once with increasing losses all along their journey?
used tech companies as they are the ones that tend to have massive losses to generate revenue before turning a profit - mind you many don't get to profit and die first.
a good opportunity can only be wasted when there is poor management
comparing a publicly listed company to a private company is like comparing a blue chip with a startup. as mentioned before, this company is being run like a startup when it should be getting transitioned as a nascent blue chip (if the US is indeed materially profitable as stated). you might be happy with a spec stock so you can keep gambling but the real money is in the transition to a bluechip - the difference between COH and RMD as a penny stock vs where they are now after share splits
clearly there are a bunch of venture capitalists here still speculating on their Disallowed out of a portfolio of startups. they are happy for 9 to go out of business as long as there's one winner. the sooner they are gone the better.
its easy to say management believe their growth investment is greater than 5% - that's obvious. what's hard is where is the proof?
us is profitable, does that mean its 1% profit or 10% profit. Why isn't Australia mentioned as profitable given its the oldest market? what information has management provided for their decisions? - none - nothing. they've only said revenue will increase and they are building a plant so that revenue can increase and we'll give you a small profit next year followed by a substantial one after that.
shareholders who don't hold management to account are just gamblers along for a ride.
