Todays headline in the Australian newspaper highlighting the medical cost of diabetes type 2 as well as the human cost. It’s a tsunami for the present and future. 750 amputation per annum in Australia due to diabetes. For every one of these 10 diabetic foot ulcers would be treated. With BTM many of these could be better treated and the recovery time shortened. A win win all round. The sooner all surgeons and the ulcer care teams become aware of our first in class products the better for patient outcomes as well as making our little company a household name as well as an Aussie Icon.
