From what I understand you need less immunosuppression with dermally transplanted islet cells - I can't remember where I read this though, so don't quote me on it.
I also don't know how enormous the revenue stream would be, as I can't imagine large pieces of BTM are required for this.
The thing is tho, this could have a huge impact on public health - that is what I'm excited about the most.
