I do not have personal experience of doing business in China. But I try to be informed.
I agree that the business environments of Hong Kong and Mainland China are not identical. But both are pretty dynamic as is the relationship between them.
Access to Hong Kong doesn't guarantee access to the rest of China but with respect to medical devices this is now the case for certain provinces (see below).
If it's not already happening, I think it's inevitable that BTM will be used in mainland hospitals.
