- There’s no concern of the fish supply running out! Currently, Kerecis is using <1% of the fish skin available in Iceland “and we could have 100% market share just by using a small, tiny portion of the fish skins that are available in Iceland.”
I wonder if their product can be made from other types of fish or only cod? If its any types then its not as much a worry.
Since they say <1% of fish skins I would hope that means they can use any type of fish, but it could also be very misleading if only cod is suitable for their product.
It will be interesting to see in say 5 years time if they still feel so confident about supply.
