Would be nice if housing was shortable and more liquid we would have less inflated prices, when people can have risk on both sides I creates a more balanced price.
Active markets with more liquidity have fairer prices look at the bud ask spread.
If not buy every share on the market and buy and sell them between your own companies at what every price you want to create liquidity and borrow money against
your ownership this is why shorting is required.
This is one of the problems with housing in this country.
