tell that to TheAnalyst - they were the one who said you could short housing. All I said was that you couldn’t. I agree I went a bit far by saying that was the root cause of differences in volatility, but you and I seem to agree that it’s a contributor, because if you could, you’d see more volatility because of increased liquidity. That’s still not an argument in favour of shorting.
