That was a couple of years ago now, though, and he surely didn't mean PNV would never pay a dividend. Personally, I believe that a modest maiden dividend would do a lot for the share price, and hence capital appreciation, both because the market would see it as an act of good faith towards investors and because it would price in a steady rise in the dividend as growth continued.
