OK yes i agree up 100% in past year is great! If you happen to have bought in a year ago. BUT the fact is all this is is the recovery of the 50% drop from $2.50 (I'm not interested in the $4 high) over the previous years.
And like you I'm optimistic it will grow going forward. The question is do you believe continued growth at the recent historical 50% rate (or possibly 35% which, due to compounding effect, is still excellent imo) will generate this? Clearly it hasn't over the past 5 years so maybe we need something "out of the box". I think we need something unexpected. Time will tell.
