It is very relevant because irrespective of the reasons for why the exit happened, it shows the pattern of 1) stock gets booked from 200 index, 2) forced insto buyers now become forced insto sellers, so 3) they call their lent-out shares back, and 4) short positions therefore forced to close out. Too many people evidently see a stock exit an index, see the shorts close out, and think that's the reason it happened, rather than the consequence. The pattern is clear across multiple stocks from all different sectors.
