it really depends on how much you buy and sell. If you trade regularly the gov may see this as an income so tax you as such. However if they see it as an investment you'd pay capital gain. Depending on how long you held them would depend on how much tax. Under 12 months then 50% over then whatever your tax rate is for the year. But of course any losses would also be taken into account.
