Polynovo BTM acts as a resorbable foam scaffold for subcutaneous and dermal tissue to grow into creating clean, healthy tissue that will take a split skin graft on top.
AVH's Recell is a method of spraying on harvested keratinocytes (and some other cell types) from the epidermis (top layer) of skin. This can be used to allow a more widely meshed split skin graft to be used so it will cover a larger area. After the meshed graft has been applied, then Recell can be sprayed on to help heal the larger holes in the stretched graft.
So they do different things and are more "complimentary" than "competitive".
