breilly in the simplest of breakdowns - Avita's product is a spray on skin, Polynovos product(s) are synthetic mesh to replace tissue/flesh from burns, injuries, surgeries etc. Without functional/healthy flesh there's nothing to spray Avita's product onto.
Polynovos only competitors products are biological meaning they contain animal based tissue/cells - Polynovos product(s) are 100% synthetic. The issue with animal based products are risk of infection, shelf life, cost and so on.
The layman analogy I generally use is that Polynovo is used for rebuilding the walls of a house, Avita is the paint.
