Missed out tonight@moosey ... due to COVID Cray fisherman are allowed to direct sell off their boats. Picked up the freshest crays I’ve seen in a long time excepting when my neighbour catches them.
Pulled between 3-8AM and alive in my hand at 9:30AM. Made an amazing crayfish bisque tonight.
Still have approx 600 grams of tail to turn into medallions for mains.
I despise our situation over here since COVID occurred but the change in seafood pricing and the return of some species that simply went overseas with none to be seen here is a pleasant change.
