By way of comparison, according to LinkedIn, both PNV and AVH each have 123 people listed as working for those companies - what a coincidence! Bear in mind these companies are not competitors, but it is interesting to see the staffing and skills profile data from LinkedIn.

In terms of roles, 53 people are listed as working in sales for PNV, while only 9 people are listed as working in sales for AVH.

What is also really interesting is when you go down the list of "What they are skilled at". The list shows PNV has grown its staff to be very sales oriented, with skills in medical devices, sales, working with surgeons, product launch etc featuring strongly.

AVH on the other hand have staff skills predominantly focused on more back office functions, with skills in Microsoft office, excel, and project management featuring more prominently which do not come up as the top the list of skills for PNV.

Given what management have been saying at PNV, their staffing profile does not come as a surprise - the big focus right now is on driving sales. The staffing profile at AVH on the other hand is rather surprising, given they continue to post large losses, their staffing profile seems to suggest they are not focused on changing that.
