Of course, first comes triage and “first aid”. Later in a better staffed, better equipped hospital, the real treatment will begin.
It is in these facilities that the advantages of BTM in cost, room temperature storage, effective wound sealing, resistance to infection, ease of application, robustness after placement, and resistance to handling damage will naturally make it more likely to be used than other potential scaffolds. But will it be used in lieu of nothing but the same old same old? Harder to say.
