You obviously like to try and stay informed. Burns management is a very complex and evolving field.
I'll point you towards a great summary from 2017 outlining why and how they have traditionally temporised burns.
You'll see why BTM is more suited for this job, especially for battlefield trauma, for a number of reasons (shelf life, price, resistance to infection, easy of use, no need to refrigerate, etc).
The point is not that if war broke out tomorrow would we be getting product to the troops. The question is what is the future of burns therapy?
