Here we have the novel use of Novosorb BTM in an individual infected with Pseudomonas aeruginosa with bilateral lower limb deep partial thickness burns. Those with a medical background may know the difficulties which arise in treatment when faced with a multidrug resistant form of bacteria such as this. This gentleman was at risk of a bilateral lower limb amputation and was eventually transferred to burn-rehabilitation with almost consolidated wounds, a massive success.
It was good to read some peer cross-referencing to previous work by Solanki et. al on the robustness of BTM in resistance to infection.
