well.. the war is getting serious (the Ukrainians are shaming us all with their bravery) which means flow on market effects in the short term... but as I have previously mentioned 6 months after 19 of the last 20 major geo-political events wall street recovered fully and then some (the figures are from an interesting article I read a few weeks back)...
also I looked at an another interesting article overnight on valuing shares... the basic conclusion ... 5 years into the future and SP was mostly determined by sales and 10 years into the future the effect was even greater ... so maybe DW is not just clever but prescient
and finally the shorts having peaked at about 62.5 million have now (on the latest available figures) dropped to 59.5.. I know it is not much but it could be the start of their closing out their positions and taking their now rather large profits; this as retail panics and lines up to give them their shares...
I guess it is time to go fishing and I don't even like fishing ....
