hey whytee it isnt that easy to buy and sell small parcels
as soon as you out a sell or buy or in the stack immediately shifts and youre left with a partial executed order
ive tried it a few times so its obvious to me when that js happening a lot lf that volume imho is fund lanagers selling to themselves. or HFT
buying and selling to themselves. totally legal. the speed at which the buy and sell orders are pulled when i have placed an order says to me that it is HFT
this says to me there is a lack of buy or sell pressure with a slight demand to buy which is why the share price is creeping up. i dont think shorters are trying to push share price down today which is why itd going up. if they have the sahres what better way to teat the market pulse buy executing a bunch of HFT and then get some kind of score from the algorithm about the demand for the stock on any given day
