unless of course market valuation keeps rising each year and that MC increase exceeds any return you could get in the bank and potentially also beats other dividend+market cap return stocks
if youre wanting dividends wouldnt you be into FMG, woodside, Rio and say even the banks are paying 6-8% dividends
a couple of million at a 8-10% return is giving a 160-200 k annual income... that sounds about perfect to me, heck even a little less as i dont like the idea of giving the tax man too much.
