OK, now I know where that comment came from. Not the announcement. But put into context, DW said:
“I am not here looking for capital or investors. I am looking at our competitors and
at companies in tangential areas of business. Polynovo can hold its head high with
our performance.”
I suspect by "our competitors and companies in tangential areas of business" he means companies that only partly related ... like ARX and AVH. And he wasn't looking for investors or funds. Basically I think he was just checking out the competition in case there might be things of interest that he could turn into ideas or future opportunities.
