That would seem to be a very long way into the life of the IP. Trade secrets are all very well but I wouldn't want to be relying on that factor to protect Polynovo's market: I do not doubt the technology will have been reverse engineered or obtained through hacking or corruption long before that..

And nobody, but nobody, gets to sell a generic product at a price anything approaching the present gross margin.

A plan that involves pushing out profits and dividends to 2032 is a plan that says the shares are almost worthless today and will be valued a decade from now at a multiple of maybe five or six times earnings to reflect the limited future remaining when the dividends eventually arrive.

Fortunately, I expect substantial earrings and dividends well before then.
