"There has been recent evidence of the main competitor Integra dropping its price for its product PriMatrix – for some accounts Integra has reduced its price by 50% to match PNV’s price for BTM. CEO not overly concerned about price based competition as integra’s product is organic and as such heightens the risk of infection, PNV believes that BTM significantly reduces theatre times and PriMatrix doesn’t come with a sealing membrane which BTM does" - Is Integra in full panic mode yet?
They can't compete on ease of use and better patient outcomes so they're dropping their price. But if they want to compete on price, they can't in the long run - BTM is vastly cheaper to produce.
