Well I bit the bullet and bought some more today. My investment thesis for this company has remained unchanged, even though the share price hasn't. I figure if it was good enough to hold it's good enough to buy, especially because it'll help me average down (i am well underwater here). The shorts continue to rise and according to Shortman we're the eighth most shorted stock on the ASX with 9.13% of the SOI shorted.
I'm wondering what the end goal of the shorters is here, are they expecting a capital raise or perhaps trying to push PNV out of the ASX 200. One thing, they need to cover at some point so a reckoning will come between the shorts and the longs - it'll be interesting to see how this plays out
