So legit question.
Heavy shorting would artificially affect the accumulation/distribution line, or at least make it much less relevant.
If not, how so? It acts as an indicator of supply and demand, and hard short selling is essentially creating an artificial supply, which doesn't factor in the demand debt that has been accrued.
So for those looking at this indicator and potentially touting it as some evidence of... ?market sentiment or true institutional sentiment, I would love an explanation.
