Good stuff @Albaicin - very informative - thank you. I appreciate what effort that took! And your willingness to share.
When I checked to find what sort of price the shorts were in at, I used daily data which you can download in .csv form and worked from there.
Hence I was able to use the daily shorts aggregate change v the daily PNV VWAP. A reasonable assumption to think that would give a reasonable estimate.
As to how the shorts will act though, it relies fully on the assumption that it is only one party. Due to the risk that assumption is invalid, I'm not prepared to place much reliance on what these calculations show.
