Volume increases in uptrends indicate selling/profit taking then followed by price drops. If you check the PNV chart you will notice occasions where large volume accompanied large price drops, negative news. Here strong buying taking
place and in doing so reversed the
negativity as a prelude to price up turns.
And so price up on volume up bearish
And price down on large volume bullish
