People buying shares do so to make money by investing or trading. Investors are looking for returns based on fundamentals, dividends and share price appreciation based on reliable earnings. Traders look for short term share prices changes and volatility so they can speculate and hopefully sell at a higher price than they bought, so they act on trends identified by TA.

PNV has had share price volatility and it has no dividends. On the other hand it's growing strongly in a relatively reliable and recession resistant medical field with a proven product that has been greeted with enthusiasm by customers. It has mutiple uses in burns and other tissue loss or salvage treatments and even cosmetic procedures. It has limited reimbursment so there is a lot of room to grow sales particularly as the US market hasn't really appreciated its use outside of burns.

If the company sets aside just $7m for dividends it can pay 1c per share or 2c a share from $14m in profits. If they have revenues of $200m then I think they will easily be able to afford to pay a small dividend in a year or two. And there are so many opportunities already in progress for growing revenues, it's easy to see the expansion continuing and IMO it won't stall as Wison's and Ord Minnett are suggesting.
