Australian society should pride itself on continuously reviewing and working to fix issues where it finds them, usually on the basis of activism by members of the public. Nothing’s perfect, that’s why it’s important to keep on improving things.
The attempts to shut down this conversation last night by 2 people who up to now have commanded a lot of respect across HC is reminiscent of schoolyard bullying.
