if you are actually holding the share you need to do nothing..
It would be options. futures etc that have a time on them, but with a broker i would think he would do that, i don't know as never held options., etc. they have never been my point of interestonly futures. and i don't play those now either, but i would make sure i am not in those near rollover as the new contract needs to settle but one would think we would do a bit of a run up into the rollover, so if you were looking to rollover i would think you would do it the couple of days before hand.. watch the volume..and price.
