Don't forget all the dividend payments that pay out through march & april
Futures & intraday prices may widen after dividend payment season, but long positions will get paid the dividends
Short positions will have to pay for dividend payments even if they make money with a falling futures contract
ASX is very dividend heavy
This is why I prioritise intraday prices over futures
