Peter normal to distribute a basic investment product that tracks index and then another part of the business is long/short/advising/researching stocks. I wouldn’t say conflict at all. They’re also a custody business too. ETF is just a basic product that is easily created to take a clip on and ensure there is liquidity and minimal tracking error.
