It sounds like they need feedback on your thoughts there, which seem very valid and would give the public more confidence in ASIC that their input is not just being binned or that they are being ignored. ASIC could give some at last minimal feedback and public relations is important to every company and organisation after all. I would contact the minister responsible and the commission executive if you want to ensure a proper response.
