I find the same with IG, cannot trade unless cash is in account. On the upside, the cash is available the minute you sell. Downside is you don't actually own the stock so don't get HIN's etc, but still get to take part in SPP's. Can fund with credit/debit card but withdrawals take 3 days.
Good for traders.
